BackplanePR electronics is at the cutting edge of the development of user-friendly backplanes. The PRewire 7101 backplane is our latest launch and the ideal choice where 4 or more modules are to be integrated in the same process panel. PRewire 7101 is outstanding due to its impressive flexibility:
The reduction of manual wiring is another obvious advantage of the PRewire 7101. The wiring from the control system to the signal conditioning modules is replaced with a multi cable with e.g. a 37-pole SUB D connector. The connection from the SUB D connector to the signal conditioning modules is mounted on the adapter board. Totally, the backplane replaces up to 56 wires. When the backplane is configured via SMD technology from factory the risk of configuration errors is minimal. At standard manual wiring the margin of error depends on the skills and experience of the technician, but with a PRewire backplane this risk is limited to the wire diagram. Each backplane module is designed for mounting 8 or 16 signal conditioning modules in 1- or 2-channel versions. Thus, up to 32 channels can be installed in one backplane. The backplane can be connected to all common systems in the market such as ABB, Foxboro, Siemens and Yokogawa. Below you will find examples of various input and output cards from Yokogawa: Yokogawa I/O modules: AAI141 - 16 analogue inputs (Adobe Acrobat Dokument) ADV151 - 32 digital inputs (Adobe Acrobat Dokument) ADV551 - 32 digital outputs (Adobe Acrobat Dokument) AAI841 - 8 analogue inputs and 8 analogue outputs (Adobe Acrobat Dokument)
