Discontinuation of 5331, 5333, 5335 and 6335 B and C product types

Over the years, PR electronics has obtained I.S. approvals from several different countries and approval authorities. This has led to a series of different product types, e.g. –B, -C and -D for devices which have later on become identical both in regard to hardware and software.

As it is both time-consuming and costly to maintain this practice we are now incorporating the various types under one, see the example below:

5333B, 5333C and 5333D
B = ATEX approval
C = FM and ATEX approvals
D = CSA, FM and ATEX approvals

By maintaining only the D type we are reducing the number of product variants from 3 to 1.

This new practice does not affect the individual approvals and the certificates can be downloaded separately from our home site. Data sheets and manuals for the affected products will be updated to reflect this change as soon as possible.
