PR electronics' 9000 Ex interface series now released at the Hazard Ex exhibition in Harrogate, 24-25 February 2010

At PR electronics we look forward to showing you our series of Ex interfaces, covering any common Ex application, involving analogue, digital or HART^® signals.

The Ex series is one of the few in the market place with a SIL 2 certification via Full Assessment according to IEC 61508. The Full Assessment is by far the strictest and most demanding way to obtain a product categorised for use at a given safety integrity level (SIL). Among other things, the procedure includes assessment of the hardware development, the software development, the testing methods and the test results.

The 9000 series of Ex interfaces is designed for easy mounting on power rail, effortless configuration via detachable front display and a lot of other advantages.
